Dr. Sanjay Pandya MD DNB (Nephrology) Nephrologist
Dr Sanjay Pandya is practicing nephrologist at Rajkot (Gujarat –India). He did his M.D. (Medicine) from M. P. Shah medical college, Jamnagar (Gujarat) in 1986 and DNB Nephrology from IKDRC, Ahmedabad in 1989.
From 1990 onwards he is practicing as nephrologist at Rajkot (Gujarat) India.
Academic Contributions:
Published a book, "Practical Guidelines on Fluid Therapy" in year 2002, which is the first complete Indian book on fluid, electrolytes, acid base disorders and parenteral nutrition. More than 60 thousand copies of this practice-oriented book are sold in 14 years. Dr Pandya contributed chapters on these subjects in various textbooks and monograms.

Contributions to education of kidney patients:
Dr Sanjay Pandya is pioneer of Kidney Education Foundation activity which started 11 years ago.
In 2006 Dr. Pandya wrote and launched kidney book in Gujarati titled “Tamari Kidney Bachavo”. The book was very well received by patients suffering from kidney disorders all over Gujarat.
Usefulness and success of the Gujarati book inspired Dr Pandya to write same book in Hindi and English language, which received great appreciation from kidney patients, society and nephrologists (kidney specialist) of India.
To help highest possible number of kidney patients and people, Dr Pandya prepared and launched kidney website www.KidneyEducation.com in year 2010, with facility of free download of kidney books initially in Gujarati and Hindi language.
Kidney specialist of India and different part of world got impressed and got interested in this project. As a result in span of about 5 years under guidance and supervision of Dr Pandya, kidney book and website was prepared in total 24 languages (10 Indian and 14 International languages) by a team of about 60 kidney specialists from India and different part of world.
This medical website in maximum languages in world with free download of 230 paged book in 24 languages, received 2 crore 30 lakhs hits in 66 months which reflects its popularity and utility.
